Abstract

1. The stimulation of the N. splanchnicus causes a remarkable increase of the chemocorticoid substance in the adrenal venous blood on the stimulated side.
2. The stimulation of the N. splanchnicus causes no increase of chemocorticoid substance in the adrenal venous blood on the other side.
3. We discussed the mechanism of the neurohumoral regulation between N. splanchnicus, adrenal medulla and cortex, and anterior pituitary gland, concerning the defense mechanism of the body.
