A current measurement was carried out in Kasado Bay to understand the vertical structure of tidal residual flow and its dependence upon the tidal range. The tidal residual flows have almost the same flow direction in the upper and the lower layer and its magnitude in the upper layer is larger than that in the lower layer. The tidal residual flow at spring tides is stronger than that at neap tides.
