Abstract

The switching maneuver is one of the missions of spacecraft that is to continue changing the attitude angle of spacecraft to observe multi targets. In performing switching maneuver at high speed, there are such problems that high power actuator is needed and flexible structure of spacecraft is excited. In this report, we study the problems of high speed and precise attitude switching maneuver by using control moment gyros (CMGs). For designing feedback controller, we propose to use gain scheduled DVDFB control that is optimized via LMI. The control performance is evaluated by simulations and some important issues for achieving control specifications are discussed.
