For the hybrid structures of steel and concrete, the connection system of steel and concrete is very important to ensure their performance, and its mechanical behavior especially under earthquake must be clarified. Thus herein, its fundamental behavior under large cyclic deformation is evaluated experimentally. In the experiment, the hystereses of two types of shear connectors under two types of defomation are examined in the cyclic loading test. As a result, it is clarified that a perforated rib shear connector exhibits the higher energy absorption power than a headed stud. Especially, the energy absorption may increase in the case that an excessively large deformation is applied first and then smaller deformation is applied cockily.
