This study aims to make clear the structure of cognition concerning greenery in local cities surrounding mountains and rural fields and to use it for park planning.
As the result, through questionnaire sent to the citizens in FUKUI prefecture, following things were obtained.
1) The citizens, who are impressed with plentiful greenery at residential places, think that rare nature should be valued.
2) No matter how natural surrounding mountains and rural fields are, desire of neighbourhood park is notable.
3) When utilization level of neighbourhood park is under than object, dissatisfaction and desire similarly tend to become notable.
