To get off the center line on the low traffic collector road is effective or not in order to increase the traffic safety? In Japan, this kind of measure is put to the test from 2000. In this Paper, we try to evaluate the measure by the change of the number of traffic accident, traffic volume, traffic speed, and the questionnaire for people living near the installed street. We found that the measure is effective at least in some cases and in such case, people living near the street thought to be safer by this way, and satisfied the effect. But in other cases, the number of accidents did not decrease.
