Abstract

In order to improve the comfort of bus stops, Toyota City government tried to use the halls of public facilities as bus shelters. Bus users highly appreciate the trial. But, that have big problem. During the morning and evening rush hour, the bus system did not work punctually. So, Toyota City Government tried to install demand system for their bus service.
In this paper, we try to evaluate the systems by field survey, questionnaire survey, and interviews. These tells us the system works well and bus user feels nice to the systems. And the bus company also evaluate the system as good one from the point of view of safety.
