Abstract

With the increase of the limited mobility people in recent years, the necessity of STS also has been rising sharply. But there have been just few researches on the actual condition of travel behavior of a personal attribute of STS users. This study based on the survey result targeted for the elderly in Suginami-ku, Tokyo which is an urban area. This study clarified the actual condition of travel behavior that focused on a personal attribute and the factors influencing on that condition. As a result, this study was clarified that the elderly who are older than 85 years or who have been taken higher class of Long-term care. They have troubles in both travel behavior for their survival and for their leisure, and the means of transportation that such a group is able to use alone is insufficient.
